Rope Access Malta

Facade and window cleaning

Glass, stone, render and cladding cleaned from the rope — seafront salt, Saharan dust and all.

Rope-access technicians cleaning the windows of a seafront apartment block in Malta

A Maltese facade collects salt from the sea, dust from the south wind and the grey streaks that run from every ledge after the first autumn rain. The glass on a seafront block goes opaque in a season. Cleaning it from a scaffold means weeks of tube on the pavement and a council permit; cleaning it from a cradle needs a cradle the building probably does not have. From the rope it is a team of two, rigged from the roof in an hour, working down each drop and gone the same afternoon.

The unit is the window or the square metre of facade, and the price is built from team-days. No Maltese firm publishes a rate, so the calculator says so and the survey gives you the number, with the scaffold comparison beside it.

What this covers

What it costs

Rope-access cleaning in Malta is quoted after a survey; no firm publishes a per-window or per-metre rate and we will not invent one. The survey counts the drops and the windows and prices the job in team-days.

A band, not a quote: the low end is a straightforward job with clear access, the high end is the same job with the complications a site visit finds. Materials are included where the line says so.

How it works

You deal with us, not with the ropes. We survey, we quote a fixed price, we bring in an IRATA-certified team from the CheckYourTraders-verified network, and we stand behind the work. One point of contact, one contract, one invoice.

Questions people ask

How often should a seafront block be cleaned?
Glass twice a year on the seafront, once elsewhere; the facade itself every three to five years or when the streaks show. The survey sets a schedule the condominium can budget for.
