Rope Access Malta

Painting and coatings

A whole facade prepared and coated from the rope — no scaffold, no permit, no months of tube.

Painting a six-storey block from a scaffold is a three-month project that starts with a permit and a hoarding. From the rope it is a team working down the drops: wash, repair, prime, two coats, move the anchor. The building stays open, the shop below stays trading, and nobody parks under a scaffold for a season.

The coating matters more than the colour on a Maltese facade. Salt, sun and driven rain want an elastomeric or anti-carbonation system on concrete and a breathable one on stone. The whole-facade calculator carries a coating tier for the budget; the survey specifies the system.

What this covers

What it costs

The whole-facade calculator prices by square metre of facade and specification. The figures are provisional placeholders until confirmed — no Maltese source publishes a rope-access coating rate — and the survey replaces them with a firm price.

Per square metre of facade. A hotel or commercial building carries a ×1.15 uplift for the access constraints, the working hours and the finish standard. These are the same figures the calculator uses, because there is only one rate card.

How it works

You deal with us, not with the ropes. We survey, we quote a fixed price, we bring in an IRATA-certified team from the CheckYourTraders-verified network, and we stand behind the work. One point of contact, one contract, one invoice.

Questions people ask

Can you paint a facade in a Maltese summer?
Early and late in the day, on the shaded elevation, with a coating rated for the temperature. A rope team can follow the shade round the building in a way a scaffold cannot.
